Sinclairslaw listed as a Tier 1 firm for Education Law and Tier 4 for Civil Liberties/Human Rights

Sinclairslaw are proud to have been retained our ranking as one of the top law firms in the UK this week, with multiple inclusions in The Legal 500 (https://www.legal500.com/) rankings, specifically for education law, and civil liberties & human rights. The Legal 500 provides a comprehensive analysis of law firms across the UK each year, with only the highest performers in the industry being included in their listings.

Our tier 1 listing for education law recognises Sinclairslaw as one of the most respected law firms in the education sector, and came with the following excerpt:

"The 'terrific' education practice at Sinclairslaw has extensive experience in acting for parents who have children with SEN, particularly in judicial reviews against unlawful decisions made by educational institutions. Admissions, exclusions and community care law are other areas of strength. The department's presence in Cardiff and Penarth as well as London means that is is excellently positioned to advise on the Welsh special educational needs system. Firm CEO Michael Charles regularly represents students in conflicts with universities, with matters including disputes over extenuating circumstances and fitness to practice cases. Senior associate Helen Gill and solicitor Louise Eardley are also key names to note."

Sinclairslaw's own John Ford is listed under the education Hall of Fame, with Helen Gill listed as a next generation partner.

Helen Gill and Louise Eardley receive further praise in the list for top law firms in the civil liberties and human rights sector (with Helen also being recognised in Administrative & Public Law as a next generation partner), in which Sinclairslaw has been recognised as a tier 4 firm. The Legal 500 had this to say:

"Sinclairslaw is known for its work on securing rights for individuals through claims against the state, particularly in relation to education law or community care law, Helen Gill leads the public law and civil liberties teams and focuses on acting for individuals in claims against the state and public bodies."
